Here at SpEEL we work on an alarming diversity of things.  It’s a broad church, but our work involves ecology, evolution, and how populations change in space and time.  The Lab’s work is divided roughly into applied, and theoretical arms.  We are motivated by basic questions in ecology and evolution, but we are paying close attention to how this work might have real outcomes.

We reside in the School of BioSciences at the University of Melbourne.  The lab is headed up by Professor Ben Phillips.
